Childhood sports also teach discipline and dedication. Routine physical activity keeps your body healthy. It keeps your brain healthy and sharp, too, during an important time for development. You may not make it to the big leagues but you will benefit from the sports friends and mentors even after you stop playing. Not to mention the association you form between exercise and feeling good.
I'm sure your kids will appreciate you protecting them from the one negative in a sea of positives
yeah, i was joking a bit, because we all know, if the kids want to play soccer, they gonna play soccer and there's not much that can stop them
My apologies, I definitely took that as an "ugh sports" comment. Asthma ended my sports participation and the older I get, the more I wish it didn't (for the reasons described)
