Living alone

Ok, I don't appreciate being called out like that.

Where are you on the line?

I lived alone for a few years around 30, then not at all until this year - I'm in my 60s. It's too early to say what I think of it. I think it will be fine, though it might be different in ten or twenty years.

In my 50s. I had a live-in girlfriend for a couple, aside from that, I've been living alone for about 20 years.

At this point, do you feel it's your preference or just the way it is that you live alone?

I'm open to living with someone. My last GF wouldn't get a job, so I asked her to move out. I'm not a sugar daddy; I don't make that kind of money, lol.

Seems completely reasonable. I liked having a partner to face life with, but my wife wasn't happy, so now I'm solo. It's weird, but not bad.

I didn’t care about turning 30 more than I cared about 29 or 31. It was really only notable because we were under lockdown. I feel like 40 is going to be the same. But maybe that is just me.

What's juuuling?

Fun chart otherwise!

Vaping (nicotine). The little disposable cartridges.

[–] atomicbocks@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Specifically nicotine vaping, as there are other kinds of vapes.

[–] Empricorn@feddit.nl 2 points 1 month ago

Absolutely. Clarifying...

Vaping. Juul is a brand of disposable vape.

Idk I think pattycake should be much higher when you reach 70-100

I'm in my mid 40s and still have a big gathering for my birthday every year. It's a great time.

I read “juggling” first and oh boy was I about to commit a hate crime in this comment section!

I've been studying Norwegian and thought it had something to do with the Jul (yule) holiday at first.

[–] AFKBRBChocolate@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 month ago

The celebrating you birthday line is really good.

[–] Chivera@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

I thought it was called pat a cake 🤔

Living alone after 70 spikes again because it means you're not senile and are ready to mingle with all the hot new singles

juuling should be higher for the under 20 age group
