On the one hand I hate to see Rowan used like this. On the other hand you're not wrong.

Wasn't there an episode of Mr Bean where he pretended to be Hitler? Like miming the Nazi marching and using a finger or something as a mustache.

I don't think it wasn't Bean specifically. It does sound vaguely familiar. Perhaps one of Rowan's stand-up specials? Bean is definitely his most recognized role outside the UK but he's had a long and varried career.

Though we could both be misremembering the chancellor of the ministry of silly walks. John Cleese as Basil Fawlty series 1 episode 6 The Germans.

That was hilarious, but what I was thinking of was Mr Bean dressed as Mr Bean.

The meme is wrong! None of those three items historically tie together, except that they share the racism angle.

Israel's policies take more from Nazi German occupational practices than Nazi German domestic race laws (which are what drew from the 'Jim Crow' laws of the US South).

Dismantling all relevant institutions and starving the occupied population en masse, proclaiming how 'humane' your treatment is to the international community whilst laughing at the deaths of 'subhumans' in domestic propaganda, and engaging in intermittent 'bandit hunting' campaigns that target almost exclusively civilians, with the end goal of achieving a reduced enough population for colonist 'lebensraum'.

It would probably be more accurate to connect late 19th century US policy towards Native Americans with this chain, rather than Jim Crow.

As someone whose family was impacted by those bullshit politics,

Thank you. This isn't an apt comparison, at all. American/Indian genocide is more on point.

Zionist indoctrination makes National Socialism look like a Facebook rant
