This is a guy who's spent the majority of his "comedian" career shitting on others for censoring hate speech he likes and priming his audience to view all criticism of him as petty cancel culture.
As per usual, the "freedom of speech absolutist" crowd is the most authoritarian on crucial critical speech.
This is just to make the subreddit conform to the brand/Joe Rogan's perspective and interpretation of events and excuse their moderation actions when they censor or silence users with opinions or perspectives they don't approve of.
I'm surprised that particular group of people could possibly get more confused.
Last i check the joe rogan subreddit were fans of the old 2016-2020 joe back when he supported bernie sanders and wasnt full on right wing grifter.
that subreddit was basically making fun of what joe became last i checked it in 2023. My hunch is the “no political posts” means there’s been a takeover to try and make the sub “pro rogan” right wing.

I wouldn't insult any student with that description .... these are people that attended school and never paid attention to anything, skipped through most of the year and the school finally had to pass them with the most minimum grades they could fudge because it was difficult to have a 20 year old in high school.

From what I can get, it seems to be a fan/"fan"-run subreddit? If so, at least on the political side, doesn't seem like a big deal. However, on the health of such communities, it's a warning tale as Reddit's design makes it hard to make alternative communities to keep discussion going.
This one is rather a sub for former fans, of the “““he's a neutral interviewer””” days, which are now clowning on how stupid Rogan has become. Without the political themes, on which Rogan speaks a lot now, there's not much to even discuss.
There's actually another alternative sub for proper fans. =)
Rogan has become a political commentator. They just want a rule to point to when they ban people they don't like

I think it's accurate, unlike his opinions. You don't have to be insightful or intelligent to comment on events, I prove that myself every day.
