- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's what conservatives do. They are venal, disingenuous, self-absorbed, hateful little people.
Some of them could be hiding their opinions and saying "I just don't like to get into politics".
Do I look like I give a shit? I'm not trying to make friends with republicans.
Just like when racists totally have a black friend, right?
If I find out that a friend votes Republican, I find out we ain't friends. They're just somebody I thought I knew.
Consequence of being friendly is that a lot more shitty people will consider you their friend than the other way around
The takeaway here is that Republicans are generally confused, lonely, unprincipled and two-faced.
It's not a "difference of opinion" when your party think I should be put in a concentration camp even if you know I'm "one of the good ones." You're all the bad ones, and I know it.

Pointed that out in my comment too. Republicans probably think theyre friends with Democrats who are "one of the good ones." Dems are smart enough to know Republicans are all bad

They're more comfortable with lying.
What they are thinking of, is they used to have a good friend in the other party. They just didn’t get the note that, that friend stopped considering them as a friend.
Yeah, or that. I certainly jettisoned several people over their political affiliation over the last few years.
