Did you know Rudolph the Reindeer (and all reindeer in general) has no upper teeth?

Join us for beautiful pics of auroras, reindeer teeth trivia, and grousings about grocery prices! Whether you’re a born Norwegian, immigrant, tourist, or just think reindeer are cute, this is the place to be.

Due to the small size of Lemmy, and the even smaller size of the Norwegian part of Lemmy, contributors are encouraged to stick to English where possible.

Afaik, Norway has quite the population of Adders which are also called Vipers: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adder

Their bite hurts like a bitch and in the summer, they often rest in the sun besides taller grass

So, TIL that they come in all black too. That makes me think I surprised one under my bag one night last summer (it immediately fucked off). I hate snakes and do not like that thought.

They do come in black! I see them quite frequently when I’m out on walks with my dog. It’s always exciting.
