Both Red Bulls out in Q1 while both VCARBs make it to Q3.

Piastri has quite a challenge ahead of him tomorrow being in P4.

Alex Jacques said it's the first time he's ever been out in Q1 purely on pace??
He also said itβs only the second time Max hasnβt made it out of Q1. The first time was in Brazil last year.
No he was P12 last year and took a 5 place grid drop, dropping him to P17.
F1.com also says it's the first time he's ever been out in Q1 purely based on pace.
Really sad. That basically puts an end to the title fight unless something miraculous happens tomorrow.
To be fair, Verstappen was never in the title fight bar anything miraculous happening
