I have been using Mullvad for years and never knew this existed.

It’s only been around for half a year

Leta was introduced in 2023.

Fuck… really jeez. I could swear it was announced this spring lol.

They opened it up to everyone this year. Prior to that it was only available for Mullvad subscribers.

I recommended Kagi - its primarily focused on a better search experience, but privacy is built into the architecture.

Text search is great, image search still needs work

Kagi is a bit slower than most of the big players, but that's made up for, and then ~~some~~ a lot, by actually getting me what I'm looking for. Strong recommend.

Me too, after SearXNG couldn't fetch google results anymore, Leta was big help. There were intermittent errors but i t would start working again eventually.

Sad to see it go away.
