I saw this while waiting on a bench a few weeks ago. no idea what's up with the tree trunk
Looks like an olive tree. They all have those twisty trunks. They're pretty cool. They're somehow trying to follow the movements of the earth and apparently that's what's causing the weirdness.
yeah, that is pretty neat! thanks for sharing! Also noticed that the trunk is hollow. Is that just a visual glitch or something of olive trees?
That's most likely made by whoever is taking care of the tree. They sometimes rot cause of some disease so the rotten part is taken out. I've seen some that were so large and had such big pieces missing that they looked as if they were two trees that fused together. Pretty cool.
