I have been charged in a federal indictment sought by the Department of Justice.

This political prosecution is an attack on all of our First Amendment rights. I’m not backing down, and we’re going to win.

I have seen ads for her campaign despite not living in Illinois. Presumably because I follow Zohran Mamdani and Graham Platner. Hope she can beat this. Fuck ICE and this corrupt fascist administration.

This woman is their worst damned nightmare.

✅ Blonde

✅ Young

✅ "Funny" last name

✅ Well spoken

✅ "Radically" liberal ideas and speech

✅ Nationwide attention to her campaign

✅ Actually on the streets, money where her mouth is

Any one trait can be explained away, but taken as a whole, a win for a person like that would be a clear signal that the old order is no longer able to win elections. Democrats and Republicans alike should be shitting kittens over her popularity.

You need to be a citizen or resident to contribute (because she is not on the ignoring-the-rules team sadly enough, otherwise it would be fine whatever the amount or how brazenly corrupt).

How much did you want to give her? I'll donate that amount instead.

How is it illegal to fund someone's legal fees? I know its illegal for their campaign to get funded from overseas but if they are smart they are keeping their campaign fees separate.

I feel like since she is a candidate and a Democrat, all kinds of her funding is subject to all kinds of scrutiny. "Well I know these people gave me a donation via my campaign web site but it wasn't used to fund my campaign" is exactly the kind of logic that I think you can get away with as a Republican but not as a Democrat, even when it is 100% truthful.
