Ah, clothes buttons are apparently called snaps where I am from.

Here clothes buttons would be the ones you put through a fabric loop/hole.

So it made me really curious why those would be the method of choice, lol.

Was brainstorming with a couple of friends, supergluing the power bank directly would be too cumbersome, and velcro would get a lot of debris inside it. So one friend suggested clothes buttons and I was really hooked on the idea lol.

That a really inventive way of connecting the battery bank, but I question why you would need more battery capacity on a 3DS. The battery on mine lasts for fucking ever. Lol

I really like max 3d and max brightness, so this will allow me to game longer with both of those longer.

Making a powerbank seems like too much work.

Wouldn't it be easier to buy one and 3D-print something to mount it?

"Made" might be a strong word the making was really buying a case from Aliexpress for 1$ and a 21700 samsung battery of 5000mah. Edited the post as it was a tad misleading. The only important thing was it outputting 5v2a which it already did.
