I don’t have a problem with ai. I just want to go use it when I want. I don’t need it controlling my pc or anything like that. I guess if you are old or disabled it could be a benefit, but mostly unnecessary.

This is a stupid argument. If you use the Internet, every website spies on you. Average Linux usage is not good for privacy.

Using a computer is much more than just opening a web browser. Web browsing wasn't even mentioned in the comment you responded to. Running Linux is already several steps better than using an operating system that actively spies on you.
