There's no such thing as "indicted for alleged _____________." She was indicted on a bank-fraud charge, but an indictment is an allegation in and of itself. The phrasing is as redundant as this kangaroo charge is stupid.

Tbf, I'm sure the public needs the reminder that is what an indictment is - NPR has also since updated the title to something a little less accusatory (imo)
A little?!? It directly points the finger where it belongs this time. Would love to know the behind the scenes machinations at NPR regarding how headlines get chosen & then edited.
