The heavy censorship needed to convey completely basic words is probably another good indicator.

Fuck censorship. I'm so sick of this toddler Internet

It's all about Google, Meta, and other ad delivery services pandering to advertisers who want to control what words their ads appear next to.

Straight up "don't say naughty words!" infantilizing censorship would have been completely unacceptable but nowhere near as bad as the fresh hell these greedmonsters have wrought.

Why the fuck does Nazi need to be censored???

!'m guess!ng some platforms want to be as advert!ser-fr!endly as poss!ble, so posts with """bad""" words are not shown to as many people. Same reason as this r!d!culous "unalive" that appeared some t!me ago.

Instagram and tiktok are always looking for more enemies of the system to shadowban. Similar to how you can get banned off Reddit for upvoting 'harmful' content you can get banned or shadowbanned for using 'bad' words on Instagram. Weirdly enough the accounts openly denying the holocaust with swastikas in their profiles never seem to get banned from my experience.
