Hello my name is Daniel Hanrahan and I am asking do think this game: https://github.com/Daniel-Hanrahan-Tools-and-Games/Quest_For_Chalice needs a paid non open source but source available expansion, because I have made such an expansion. let me be clear, no source code from this project was used in the expansion.

How do you think about the way I distribute copies of the expansion, 1. person emails me that they want a copy, 2. we negotiate one time payment, what it is and how I receive it over email, the reason for why im doing this is because of what happened to both steam and itch.io and because of the inflation problem that is happening all over the world, 3. Do the transaction as agreed upon and then you are done.

How would you think about the way of how I would allow the expansion to be distributed through game streaming services, 1. Person from streaming service emails me that the game streaming service wants to put the expansion on game streaming service, 2. We negotiate recurring payments over email, what it is and how to recieve it, there is always a clause in that deal that deals with enshittification of 5 groups of people, shareholders/members, employees, customers, me and upper management of streaming service that is iron clad, that clause prevents enshittification of any kind from happening, the reason I am adding this is because I have seen what has happened to Adobe, Nintendo and Netflix, and I do not need to add the inflation thing twice, 3. Do the transaction as agreed upon and then you are done.

Now how do you think of all that. Sincerely, Daniel Hanrahan

I think anything that increases friction is bound to cause adoption issues.

If you're fine with that, then I'd recommend making the price for individual licenses public so people know what they're getting into, maybe with an asterisk that the price is negotiable (if it is).

How would you take care of problem with every currency in the world because they are going the way of the Roman Imperial currency and what about the credit card processor issues how do you take care of that, do you think I should clarify that the price is something that costs $1.00 or $0.25 today for example so there will be a baseline price.
