I curious what happened after and figured I'd share what I found.

  • Happened 31 Oct 2022.
  • On 7 Nov, the sheriff's office determined the officers committed several policy violations. Hunter said Harrison will be demoted immediately and suspended without pay for seven days. Gohde will be suspended without pay for two days. Both will undergo remedial training on civil rights.

James Hodges was charged with resisting arrest non-violently.

Normally you can get charges dismissed if it's just "resisting arrest" with nothing else.

Reason: to be resisting arrest, there has to be a lawful arrest in progress first.

Wtf. The only way he could have resisted less is if he handcuffed himself.

The piggies just wanted to dominate him after he asserted his rights. Telling a cop "no" will put them in a frenzy of excited delirium.
