- If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
- Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

This is not remotely helpful.
Why? I did it a decade ago, and its been extremely helpful for both reducing spam and increasing security
That is akin to amputating your leg because you're tired of stubbing your toes.
Saves money on socks, too.
