Weird and interesting nonsense you saw in your dreams, be it memes (I.E.: Reddit's Thomas the Plank Engine community) or just funny or interesting dream stories.

The idea of the community is not to be a serious dream-interpreting thing, but to be a silly place to tell people of strange shit you dreamed of.

Rules:

Posts must contain something from your dreams, preferrably something interesting, strange, scary, or amusing.

I “watched” a 4 and a half hour dark comedy miniseries by Steven Spielberg about the Holcaust (lemmy.world)

I even looked up the Wikipedia article in the dream and remember seeing the runtime as 4’29” over four episodes. (I “looked up” the Wikipedia in a false awakening to confirm that it was real.) It was supposedly from the late 80’s.

Some major plot points where that the patriarch of the family in focus was secretly running a porn smuggling ring, and was on the verge of getting his family in trouble not just for being Jewish but for the porn ring. The mom was a very sad woman who ended up saving a young girl, hiding her in the attic and the irony of the situation was that they were all unsafe.

In this dream’s universe, one of the Nazis was basically the French guy from Month Python and the Holt Grail, and actually had inspired the Monty Python character, which doesn’t make sense timeline wise.

I made it to the third episode before I woke up, where they were being moved to the ghetto.
