Dubvee is a silly place. I first heard about it because they banned me.
I was banned from a bunch of their communities (7 I think). I had never posted in them or in any of their other communities as far as I know. The reason was
syncing instance bans to community bans
I don't know what that means since I'm not banned on that instance. I messaged them twice to ask why and got no response.
Maybe those communities sync their bans to another instance, where you are banned.
Could be. To my knowledge I'm not banned anywhere. I got a three day ban from a news community once.
I keep expecting to see my name on the shitlist now.
Make your own instance and ban that mod from it.

Don't forget to send the dude a message telling him that he's banned.
That's a pretty dumb move.
Is dubvee run by and for one guy? What little I've seen (and dealt with) feels like a level of pettiness antithetical to any level of organization. More than once, I've checked the site, and expected it to be like those self-hosted users... the vanity plate of the Fediverse.
Pretty sure it is run by Admiral Patrick, who happens to be a major twat.
