A lot of the people giving ML a bad reputation came over from Hexbear after they were defederated by almost everyone, I suspect the angry commies would just create a new account on another instance.

I'd rather they stay on ML, that way I can block the instance and never hear from them.

Honestly .ml and .world deserve each other. Sh.it.just.works too, most common in my blocked user list.

Be bigger than them. Probably sees your instance as some sort of threat. They always shit on the big instances, I've seen Hex users refer to SJW as "Shit Just Stinks" before and they were celebrating the .ee shutdown. They consider .world some sort of right-wing instance run as a CIA/fed psyop
But they're a dbzero user, not an ML

No. I donβt think a group of bad actors should kill an instance. We all have so many tools to ignore people or entire instances.
.ml is the "bad actor" in this case for one, and for two, one of those tools is defederation. Nobody is talking about forcing .ml wholly offline.
Grad and hex are perfectly alive even with most of the network defederating from them.
What if the bad actors are admins?
Then .world wouldn't exist
I think even then itβs easy for us to block them. This is why I really liked lemm.ee
