I'm not a new Yorker. What chant is that, and why would he have trouble?
It would be chanting the name of a local sports team. This is something mayor Parker of Philly has managed to fuck up, chanting E L G S E S instead of E A G L E S because she is dumb as a rock and drunk as a skunk

She used to be an English teacher too! Alas, the two most left leaning candidates in our mayoral race split the vote and without ranked choice Parker managed to win 😭
Perhaps they could have flipped a coin and gone mayor and vice mayor instead!

OP explained the Parker aspect of the joke, but as for the Jets, their fans chant “J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!” in a similar fashion to how Eagles fans chant “E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!”

Okay, he's an ass. I remember seeing someting on him. He believes in that vigilante justice and is a guardian angel. So more Stazi, Gestapo ice type justice. At least he supposedly hates Trump
