Is anything even actually still made of tin? I don't think I've ever seen it in my life.

You've seen a lot of tin! Steel cans are tin-plated to stop corrosion. Also, solder!

Almost anything soldered that operates near room temperature contains tin.

Tin is a pretty rare metal, so I doubt it makes much sense to make much out of it if you can use something else like aluminium or plastics imstead
