I've never understood acquiring more land for parking when you can have multifloor parking garages? Heck, you can have underground parking below those stores.

Its cheaper to slap asphalt on land, im guessing.
And now they need a seperate transport from parking to the attractions. And that needs parking too, so even more parking!
Underground parking isn't an easy option in Florida since it's swamp land 🤷
