I wanted to buy something second-hand. Unfortunately, Facebook Marketplace is the shit where I live. So I thought I could quickly register, contact the seller, and delete my account afterwards.

Yeah I am out too. Sellers won't trust a new account anyway. On top of that Facebook marketplace was a nightmare even back then when I was active. People not showing the right prices, people not telling you what they want for a product, products not being what they show etc. I am very happy without the product anyway

Yeah. Because they already know what price they will accept or won't. So it would be faster if they just mentioned that price instead.
I used to do gig work online. Everything was fine for two years, then they suddenly required the same shit for identity verification, so I quit.

Sucks. Facebook is trash. All ads are scammer mostly and all comments anywhere are just bots. It is the worst marketing platform.
According to my experience Facebook ads are now becoming scam more and more. Like they just use AI voice and animated videos for ads and customer buy it. That product is mostly trash not usable.
