Oof. Copyright that shit before Disney steals your idea.
Pixar: Write that down. Write that down!!
hmmm, i don't think idea prompts can be copyrighted. buuut
if you wrote a script based on that, then put a copy of it in an envelope, sent it to yourself (so that it has an official date stamp on it), and then left it sealed (so nobody can say it was tampered with). then sent another copy of that to Disney (which they'd probably ignore). and then Disney somehow made a movie that's similar to what you wrote, then you have grounds to sue them. Just do not, under any circumstances, let anyone but the judge open that envelope, the whole plan hangs on it being the perfect proof
at least that's how my media law professor told us to protect our scripts. no judge will accept "but i came up with the idea first" as "proof"
You could do all that and Disney would probably still win, because Disney.
On the other hand, we would all win, because I would totally watch that movie! 🐀🐁👩🍳
I feel like the British rat would be some version of Gordon Ramsay
Gordon Ratsay.
I mistook the avatar for Captain Disillusion
Canadian one is called Maple Squeakerson
Except if the Canadian is from Alberta. Then the rat is just called dead :')
I always find it hilarious how some people from Alberta grew up thinking that rats were a made up thing for shows and movies. Because why wouldn't they? Haha.
I moved from rural NFLD to Alberta so there wasn't much change for me when it came to rats there.
Moving to Toronto...
Thanks for the Alberta thread. Cracked me up.
[Moviefone voice] Ratatouille two. But it's a gerbil that loves to act. The first live action sequel starring Richard Gere.
