Now we just need their software and firmware updates to run in Linux native (or even wine, I'm not that picky). Excellent controllers for the cost.

I thought fwupd supported 8bitdo controllers already.

Notice how all the newer and "ultimate" controller series are missing. They have some support, but overall it's still pretty lacking.

8bit makes really great controllers 👌🏻👌🏻 Good quality with reasonable price, at least if you don't live in a country run by a dictator 🫣🫢

Yeah, I recently got the SNES styled one for emulation and have been really impressed with the quality. It's at least as good as the original.

The one that looks like SNES but in the shape of a PS4 controller? I got that too but it has these funny back buttons I have no idea what to do with. Otherwise very happy

Awesome, I've been wanting to get some new controllers for my deck - without having those back buttons working it seemed pointless.

It's not really pointless, just because you can easily remap them to replace the abomination that is stick clicking.

I’m still holding out hope for a proper Steam Controller 2 with Deck control parity.

Sweet. Already had one for steam deck because of the gyro. This is a nice addition.
