Happy Friday folks. Hope yous are having a good one. The weather is fine, the nights are longer, the cherry blossom is out. Any plans for the weekend?

Fort William for a funeral tomorrow, then Monday for the crem. Good weather at least. Watching some of the Clone Wars with the kids tonight. I missed it being too old first time round, buts its good for kids telly. Lots of adult themes about democracy, sacrifice, and duty

Moved to Caithness recently. It's our first house, so it feels like my life is DIY these days. At least we've had some lovely weather though!

Happy housewarming!!!

Excellent to hear, Caithness needs fresh blood. Have you booked your Sinkys trip yet? Need to have something to look forward to after all that DIY

Not yet, but I've seen it around. It looks bloody lovely! The true problem here is finding a driver. Maybe it's worth splashing out on a taxi so I can have a drink!

EDIT: Stupid autocorrect

Did a lot of walking yesterday. Today up early but the plan is to be lazy other than that. Hope yous are having a good weekend in some way.

Weather was glorious for it. I've been out of action over the winter but I'm itching to get my boots on again

Think I should've drank a bit more. Headachey after all that walking. But overall enjoyed it. Hoping to get out a lot more this summer.

Gotta be careful with that. Every time I take my giant water bottle with me I resent it being heavy in my bag for the first half and then am relieved I brought it in the second

I love a walk but prefer the flat!! I can't talk and go up hills!!

Was at a cèilidh last night, had a cracking time. Long-buried memories of school PE came rushing back to the surface in the first two bars of each dance. I made a terrible choice of footwear though, I was skating about like a dog on ice

There's absolute heaps of wild garlic down by the river near me, so I might go do some foraging. I just need to double-check my reading because while the garlic smell is powerful, there are a couple of very similar-looking plants that grow in the same places and are poisonous

It was! We usually catch up during the hols but we all had things on so this was a good opportunity!! I ended up taking a steak, which I don't usually coz I can make just as good in the house and for half the price, but I really fancied it!!
