Zoe Jacobs (Jana McKinnon) vanished on her 21st birthday back in 2003, and we have come to know her hopes, fears and love of ecstasy and pop-punk via extended flashbacks. So it’s all the more upsetting that unkempt detective James Cormack (Travis Fimmel) and Zoe’s old bestie turned beat cop Samara Kahlil (Megan Smart) have just recovered submerged human remains near the local dam.
