I wouldn’t peg this right on Trump. AIPAC influence has been scary even during Democratic presidencies.

My fervent hope is by getting the word out, we can demonize them the same way people hate Elon Musk; and without marginalizing Jewish populations (who are, in many ways, their victims too)

Why is trump painted as being young and fit? He's an old sacky turd

Because these are originally right wing memes. We need to stop the soyjak shit.

No, I'm just saying that maybe we should embrace popular meme formats because they are clearly an effective way at conveying your point of view

We have been for like 2 decades now. They are the default on the Internet and this has not helped at all, only the right has benefitted from their hate shit getting spread.

How about we make our own memes instead of rehashing harmful far-right 4chan memes.

All these 4chan meme archetypes are steeped in that shit and you can’t change that. They will always be insulting to mental health issues, minorities, etc. that context doesn’t go away because you made Vance look like a “soyjak” instead.

Hey like always i feel obligated to push back on insinuations that America is an Israeli puppet when the reality is Israel is an American backed and propped up government to project power and pursue similar interests in the the middle east region.

No American puppet has the influence over the running of the US as does Israel. Israel is clearly the one setting policy here.

[–] anarchiddy@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 10 months ago

America has its own interest in justifying its role in israel and silencing opposition to state objectives

I would argue the military industrial complex plays a big part. Not often talked about but they are the big winners in war

Isreal would be fine without american support. The reason the get support is because its mutually beneficial.

Calling either a puppet is taking agency away from their decisions. They consciously choose their paths without any pressure.
