FYI: Motoren från SAAB Gripen är från GE och därför berörd av amerikanska ITAR.

Gripen E/F. Gripen C/D använder en Volvomotor.

Volvo motorer RM12 och RM12UP är förbättrad GE F404 motorer och därför ~~kanske~~ är ochså berörd av ITAR.

It's licensed by Volvo right? They can keep making them.

When they make a super gripen or 5g follow on they can use some snecma or something.

No, the engines in Gripen E/F are made by GE. However, engines of Gripen C/D, the type of most operational Gripens, are made by Volvo.
