I haven't listened to this song in decades, but for whatever reason, my fucked up brain has me singing this 2-3 times a month in the middle of the night when I get up to pee. Mellencamp, while not one of my favorites ever, was a hell of a good songwriter.
I'm old, but occasionally re-visit my youth a few times a year. Long story short, this song is pretty much always on at least one "beer pong" CD in rotation.
