Those tariffs will be back. In the meantime Apple can ship direct to customers from overseas.

Tariffs will return before the end of May, or at least the threat. As soon as Trump needs another distraction.
Messes with the supply chain though; they want to be sold out if this inventory by the end of September.
Maybe another million dollar donation can get him to shorten the pause by a month or two
Wouldn’t it be more cost-effective to simply bribe the president?

It would honestly surprise me if a lot of companies didn’t do the same. It would be stupid not to.
