I've always found goths really accepting, I guess cos they often get judged. I found emos could be a bit judgey when they were the big thing but that may just be the ones I met.

Goths are pretty accepting. Punk thinks they're accepting, but they're filled with gate keepers looking for posers. Or at least imo.

Interesting! I think for me, metal heads were the most critical. You could like all the 'right' bands and be 'in' but if you admit to liking anything other then metal (or bands the don't consider metal) you're labeled a poser.
