He stole everything from Fellini and Godard but he did it the right way. I guess it's more of a lifelong tribute and I dig it 😂
I immediately knew from the thumbnail too. I remember the first time I saw French Dispatch that opening scene came on and I thought " this is the most Wes Anderson scene I have ever watched" and busted out laughing.
I guess if the world burns down at least we got one more Anderson flick out of the deal
Exactly. I’m sure it’s a different set, but I immediately thought it was an article about grand Budapest hotel because of the wallpaper and angle.
Each of Wes Anderson’s movies gets a budget of ~25 million and brings in about ~50 million. It’s a no brainer for any studio to invest in. Not always the best movies, but always fun to watch. I can’t wait!
The A-list actors must find him enjoyable to work with to reduce their fees to fit that budget.
