Worth noting that digging into the PC Linux reviews, very recent posts, in the last week, are claiming that while the game used to run fine, it now won’t launch in Linux due to the addition of Kernel level anti cheat. Time to put it in the trash next to pubg and valorant.
Misleading information, it works on Linux despite using EasyAntiCheat.
Yeah, unless something's happened to change it since you posted, it still works for me too.
I have 400hrs clocked on linux Pop_OS!
They sometimes push a botched up date which breaks the linux version for 24h. The proton devs usually fix it fast.
Obviously, played for approx 100 hours on fedora
downloaded it from steam and it just works, played like 30 hours so far, am on arch linux.
Endeavoros and it works.
Yes! Got 200 hours clocked in, all of them on Linux. Make sure you're using Proton Experimental in Steam's Compatibility settings for The Finals.
If you're on Nvidia make sure to use a -dx11 flag as it runs faster than DirectX 12 mode
