Well, that's kind of the big problem now. No time for decades of protest.
Think of it as a good way for like minded people to get together.
Suffrage, civil rights, it works. Interracial marriage used to be illegal. Women couldn't vote

Ok but like, protests like those took years. do you think that it's acceptable to wait several years to fix this? Do we need to wait until they have exterminated 10,000 people? Or is it 100,000?
Not acceptable, no. But what is there to do?
I mean historically, people have done violence about this sort of thing.
