The future is going to chiplets, but there's still the issue that electrons are low bandwidth. In order to get chips to talk to each other at high bandwidth, we need light to work. This week at OFC, and last week at GTC, we're having our largest industry approval about how packaged optics (OBO, CPO) are going to revolutionize this space. Even if Jensen says he wants to hold off as long as possible.
