I'm not an expert, but this seems to completely ignore the crypto aspect, which is definitely a factor in whatever scheme. It's not a mistake that the Trumps have gone so hard into crypto while simultaneously destroying the American system/economy. In a historic down day for markets, Bitcoin sits up 2.1% for the day, so far.
Crypto is just laundering the profits.
