I have definitely walked home four miles from a party on multiple occasions. It's a great way to prevent a hangover.
It's also a great way to accidentally spend $30 at a White Castle along the way.

I love walking home drunk for miles. It's a pretty unique feeling. Did it a lot in foreign countries don't think I'd do it at home in the states, even in a more walkable city that I am.
TBF, I am friggen huge, and don't get any smaller when drunk.
The “long walk” is easily my favourite part of drinking. Agree on the hangover bit, it’s my go-to strategy to sober up before I go to sleep.
Me irl. Nothing better than a long walk home after a night out.
Night out? I don't mind a 15 minute walk but anything above and I'm getting my keys ready for any wanna-be muggers

I was held at gunpoint 50 feet from my apartment at about 6:00 PM, in south Florida. I also walked for miles through a forest at night under a full moon in Michigan at 2:00AM, without incident. I don't think the distance or time is as important as where you are walking. The mugger in Florida got a face full of pepper spray and went home crying with his gun.
I once cycled to a wedding in the middle of nowhere, and then at the end of night cycled away down those dark winding narrow country roads back to civilisation. Pitch black, only my sparingly used bike light.
A few days later, a friend of the groom thanked me for coming to the wedding. Years later, he admitted that he only did so because people were genuinely worried that I didn't make it home
Other friends: possible DUI 🚙💥🚗 🚒 🚑 🚓
This was me two days ago! But on a bike and looking generally more like a homeless man than a wizard
Man going to the late night party to the nearby town some kilometers away from home and walking home as the sun rises is one of the best feelings in the world.
