I’m sorry but wtf is this? What are yall talking about? I can’t find anything in the news that seems like it fits with this meme or anything yall are saying. I’m with that one dude, this feels like slop. In which case, ew.

"Shot himself in the foot" is a metaphor in American English for self sabotaging behavior.

There's a strong argument to be made that the tariffs are the US shooting ourselves in the foot.

This is most likely AI though, yeah.

Most likely? The doctor has two heart ends of his stethoscope

Murica has five toes on his foot though, so who knows? /s

It could just be one of the 19 new shows adult swim put out this week instead of a decent end to Metalocalypse or The Venture Brothers. That was the first thing I thought of when I saw this silly shit.

I got the idiom, I guess that makes sense it’s about the tariffs. I interpreted the comments more literally than I should have lol.

This doctor is so good that he’s rocking a stethoscope with two chest piece to hear two hearts at once.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 1 week ago

Probably so he can have a heart to heart with patients.

This meme would be much higher quality if the guy's face was one of those JD Vance edits.

He shot himself hoping the bullet would hurt the ones he hates more than it hurt him.

Op comment was at -3 when I made this. Fitting.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 week ago

More specifically shot himself in the foot because somebody told him not to.

By purpose. On accident, by purpose.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Maybe they wrote it like that on purpose to piss you off?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 6 days ago

Arg, I just whooshed myself.

For everyone else:

There's an Americanism that's growing using the phrase "on accident"... it's even appearing on TV scripts.

My intent was an ironic substitution of that by switching around "by accident" and "on purpose".
