NGL, that's kinda why I registered Republican. At our local city level, there were some really decent Republican candidates, so to make sure they got on the ballots in the primaries, I chose that.. but at the state and federal, I generally just vote Democratic. Best to try and maintain a balance of candidates so you don't pitch too far one way or the other. It also helps mitigate the damage done by the sheer number of Libertarians that fuck so many policy results up. Our state's infested with those morons.
