Well Internet stranger who knows nothing about me, I’ve lived a life of violence. I’ve been robbed (at home). I’ve been brutalized. I’ve been raped. I lived on the streets for years. So… perhaps I am callous but I’m sure as hell not ignorant to the plight of the average person. Sorry about your story, life is difficult and dangerous. Same as I’m sorry about the other blokes stuff. You want I should shed a tear real quick because we found another victim of this shitty society? No hired thug is going to change any of this. But we as people could build a better society that puts us first and capital last. Or let’s just say fuck it, buy guns, pretend cops are inevitable, and FTW amirite? I mean some days I’m on the fence…
No I agree the way to fix this in the end is societally, but yeah the way to protect yourself immediately is force, so either become One Punch Man or get strapped.
But as to the other stuff, well maybe you earnestly meant "sorry for your stuff" but it seemed (and often is used by others as in "it's just stuff" to minimize home invasion victims' experiences) as if it was sarcastic. If that's not the case, my apologies. If that is the case you have no clue what this person went through, like for many others it may have been more than just "stuff."
