I recently tried asking Amazon's AI a simple question about a product that had hundreds of reviews. It was a cheap thing, and I admit I was too lazy to verify the info so I went with what the AI said and bought it, and guess what the AI was just completely wrong and now Amazon is paying for me to ship it back.
Lpt: don't buy shit on Amazon. Ever. Never. Never ever ever.
Yeah! I'll just visit one of the many mom-and-pop sto... oh
Other websites exist lol
'don't buy from that conglomerate, buy from this one, silly'
Actual smaller stores with websites exist, lol
I mean if you're buying on Taobao or Aliexpress, at least you're only buying from 1 conglomerate. If you buy on Amazon, you're almost certainly buying from Aliexpress, except you get to pay a middleman too.
And so is the climate.
But it's on Amazon to expect you to rely on the information their AI gives. I plan my programs how people act not how I want them to act
I'm definitely more eBay luckily only time I deal with AI is if I'm writing a description for a new in box toy
