If protesting and obstructing ICE peacefully, within your rights and with civility, is going to have the same consequences as an attempt on their life, well... Maybe they'll find out that they can't play the fear card forever. Fascism usually features some carrots to keep the population tolerating it, and this administration seems sorely lacking.
The "carrot" is maybe they won't kidnap or murder you if you lick their boots.
Remind me to never eat the carrot cake at your place..
