This is might makes right. Literally what the Trump administration is saying about Greenland right now.
This is literally the only way to protect property. Especially real estate. It doesn't exist without the threat of violence from the state.
Also, citing historical actions from generations ago as justification for current actions is always fucked up.

I think it’s not about that, it’s about the masses with little organizing together to say to the hoarding elite class that they aren’t going to just go along with the rationale letting them take all the spoils.
Also completely ignores the people who bought their land.
Bought it from who, with what? Trace back the transactions, there will be one of violence.
If an immigrant family from the 1800's buys land from the government, that is the end of the trail. The mob can have grievances with the government themselves, but the immigrant family is not at fault. If the mob takes the land from them, that's just theft.
