America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

Everyone's already pointing out "well doing nothing isn't helping" but I'd like to point out there are many steps between Doomscrolling and Suicide By Cop, such as talking to your neighbors and joining community projects to build your local resiliency.
Go to the library or search up stuff like "charitable orgs [zip code/city/whatever]" and see what you can do. You can't do anything if everyone around you is too broke and stressed, anyways.
Better to fight back and die than let the fascists take over.
What did trying to leave peacefully accomplish? If they're going to kill people indiscriminately anyway, might as well bring them with.

I'm a confused on how the administrative and material supporters would be considered innocent. An accomplice is still guilty, and by the time unrest fully foments there will be no unwitting accomplices.
