For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.

No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.

Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.

Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.

Tesla-specific discussion can be posted here as well as our sister community /c/RealTesla.

No she didn't.

Edit: I want to expand on this. The Federal agent was standing on the driver's side, in front of the vehicle. If you're trying to hit someone with your car, you would turn the wheel in the direction of where that person is standing. When Renee turns her wheel, she turns it in the opposite direction. He's standing on her left side, she turns the wheel to her right. The agent is well aware of this, which is why he never really makes an effort to get out of the way.

In general, he does not act like someone who thinks they are in imminent danger of being hit by a car. Shooting into the vehicle is no guarantee of stopping the vehicle from hitting you, so if he actually feared getting hit, he would have made a greater effort to get out of the way. Instead he stands nearly still, only moving slightly. This agent never really feared for his life or felt that there was any real threat.

Agree. The video CLEARLY shows the tires turned away from the ski mask wearing goons forcing their way into her stopped vehicle. She was in danger from the start and ice actions only proved it.

Yeah, my ex told the police I ran her over with my car when I was trying to get away from her as she tried to break my window with a brick. Thankfully he saw my tire marks moving away and the fast she didn't have a mark on her.

It's as obvious as can be that she was trying to get away because she knew she'd be taken to a gulag if they kidnapped her. The murderer was angry that she was trying to escape and casually shot her in the face multiple times because he knew that he has carte blanche to murder anyone who resists the regime. Also predictably, the regime gave a completely false version of events so the lie can be parroted endlessly by their cultists.

I didn't want to know what it was like to live in Russia.

I suspect that depending on the era in Soviet history, guys like this would be held more accountable than we currently do for cops and feds. The Kremlin wouldn’t be okay with subordinates just willy-nilly murdering people, they gave orders on who to murder.

Yeah, I'm thinking modern Russia in this case.

I doubt she even knew there was someone in front of her car as she was probably focusing on the camouflaged man with a gun trying to open her car door.

If you don't want to get run over, don't stand in the line of fire. We learn that when we ride the bus and cross the road behind rather than in front of the bus
