Yep, he plays and twists positions he's clearly promoting by prefacing with "how those crazy reporters would react" and it works. The media gulps it down, every time. Just look how every mainstream outlet is sanewashing this specific event.

The media is going to keep on keeping it up because Trump means ratings, and ratings mean money.

It's not just the ratings. They'd get plenty of ratings showing trump being arrested, on trial, going to jail, crying on camera, dying horribly; and same for all his conspirators.

Well he'll probably die soon regardless (we can only hope). I think he's racked enough criminal charges to keep the show going until he croaks.
