Looking for an old comedy sketch where two hikers on a mountain range see each other getting nearer from kilometers away yet still manage to collide. (piefed.social)

So I'm looking for an old comedy sketch set on a mountain range where you see two people walking toward each other from a huge distance. As they get closer it is obvious that they would have already seen each other. Yet in the end they do end up colliding and falling to the ground which is hilarious.

It's definitely more than 15 years old. I saw it first on YouTube but never looked up where it was from. It's been playing in my mind ever since because it was so funny, and I cannot find the origin.

I had the vaguest inkling of a memory of this sketch and now I know it is that, it's so Smack the Pony. It would either be that or Big Train.

Why have sketch shows fallen so out of fashion these days?

They're massive productions, surprisingly expensive to make.

Much cheaper to post single sketches on TikTok. Or hire David Mitchell and call it a panel show.
