So they're saying their only influence is themselves. That's awesome. That's punk as hell.

It's like when Enya said she didn't like being called New Age. Someone asked her "well what would you call your genre?" And she just said "Enya." She didn't misunderstand them. She just said "fuck your labels, my only label is my name." (Enya is way more punk than you might imagine, especially if you've only ever heard "Orinoco Flow" (Sail Away), "Only Time," or "May it Be." That's a fun rabbit hole to go down. For starters though, she's never toured, or married, or had any kids, and bought a castle and lives there with her cats because she got tired of people.)
